# Create a legal client intake brief

Make the reported situation intelligible to counsel. Load the profile and this
workflow through `get_meetly_usage_guide`; apply the current request over preferences. Read the raw
intake and authorized matter documents. Follow [Meetly editorial standards](references/editorial.md)
and the [professional reference](references/professional.md).

Establish the client's objective, reported events, relevant parties and available
evidence. Build a useful chronology and explain the disputed or uncertain issues.
Attribute allegations and second-hand statements. Preserve conflicting amounts,
dates and recollections rather than resolving them by inference. Separate the
client's commercial urgency from a verified legal deadline.

Connect each important gap to the document or question that could resolve it. Treat
governing law, forum, party identity and contract terms as unknown until supported.
The default is factual intake for counsel, not a liability opinion. If legal research
is requested and its jurisdiction is established, consult current authoritative
sources, distinguish them from the intake evidence and flag what requires counsel's
judgment. Do not invent authorities, filing deadlines or guarantees of privilege.

Write a calm, precise narrative with accessible evidence locators. Match the intended
recipient's access and avoid unrelated matter data. Deliver the draft in chat and
the requested format. End with one grounded question or suggested next step; respect
stops. Do not contact parties, file documents or send a notice as part of this workflow.
